Pot Luck Tuesday

I'm starting something new. Pot Luck Tuesday. Mainly because it's Tuesday and I have nothing major to blog about...soooo I will just ramble about couple things and post a few unrelated pics. I'm strictly killing time here.

First, a picture of my poisonwood rash, taken a couple weeks ago...about a week after the first picture of it I posted. It is gone now, but wasn't it a pretty shade of red?

A bad picture of a Kapok tree, taken at Matheson Hammock. The flowers are big and beautiful, but their red color pales in comparison to my arm.

I am in the process of turning my 12' aluminum piece of junk into a vegetable garden.

I stuck some pots in it just to get an idea of how it will look. I need to get alot of dirt and some nice veggies next. It'll be cool. Trust me, it will be. And if my veggies all die, I think the boat would look nice full of wildflowers!

A three year old doing what three year olds like to do...

And oh yeah - Castro stepped down today. Big Whoop. Nothing has changed, nor will it, at least not for a long time yet. Casto was in power for almost 50 years, through the leaderships of 10...Yes TEN US presidents who all tried in different ways to weaken his regime. None succeeded. Now Fidel is retiring. There was no pot banging or horns honking. Who knows what will happen next....stay tuned!
