Rain, Rain, and more Rain

Yup. It's raining here. I can't complain, though, because we really need it. Lake Okeechobee is still way below it's normal level. I just hope some of the rain we're getting down here is making it's way up there, too!

I have been slacking terribly with this blog lately. It is shameful. It seems the only time I've been posting is on Mondays! I promise to get better. Tomorrow I'm going to a geo-event in Coral Gables, so I should have lots of pics to post and a story or two to tell.

Did anybody see that new show the other night..."Pushing Daisies" or "Pushing Up Daisies"? It cracked me up! Kind of bizarre, definitely different, and I suppose not for everyone, but I loved it!!

Well off to work I go... expect more from me this weekend :)

Yep, you should post more! I should as well. I might do NaBloPoMo just to actually get it done more!

I loved Pushing Daisies. Someone mentioned it likeness to Big Fish and I also think it reminds me of that movie with Sarah Michelle GEller, Simply Irresistable.

Crap. Another show to watch!

I just saw it and I really liked it! Curious now as to how they're going to keep it interesting every week.

Posting more is a good goal, but don't let it take over your life. My son and my husband make "getting rid of that damned computer" noises every now and then...

What I want to know is...if he brought his dog back to life and he's still with him 20 years later (or however many years it is)...HOW can you live with a dog and NOT EVER TOUCH IT??????

I'm just a little mad at myslef because I started this blog for a particular reason and I see myself straying from it. I need to gt=et back on track. At least most of the time :) Fun Mondays are just FUN!

Yeah - that bothered me too. There was one shot of him scratching his dog's head with a backscratcher. So does this mean that if he brings you back to life you're immortal? Large dogs like that don't normally live that long to start with. And how old was it when it was hit by the truck?

Inconsistancies like that make me a little crazy...

I loved that show! I actually watched it again when they repeated it. I reckon the dog gets plenty of human contact from the ditzy blonde. I'm wondering of they copied that from a British show. They do that quite often. I also wonder how long it'll last. Every time they come up with something halfway different - something I really like - they cancel it after one or two seasons. >8\

Nope! I wanted to but didn't watch it - I get up at 4:30am so I usually try to be in bed and sleeping by 10:00pm.
