My Dad's Plane

My Dad's old 1946 Taylorcraft...thanks to the hard work of my sister and her husband, it'll be flying again soon!

Neat little airplane. With the wings off, the attachment points sure do look kinda small, but I'm no engineer, so I'd guess they're built strong enough for their purpose... :)

It's a very light plane...fabric, wood and metal. It flew for many years, but then my dad quit flying it...my sister took it over and began restoring it a couple years ago. My dad has passed and one of the first orders of business once it's flying again will be to spread his ashes from it (probably over the Big Lake - shhhhh!)
