Gran Torino

I saw the new Clint Eastwood movie, "Gran Torino" last night. All I can say is...GO SEE IT! I don't want to say too much and spoil anything for those who are going to see it, but damn...what a movie! It was the last thing I thought of when I went to bed, and the first thing I thought of when I woke up the next morning. I just really, really loved it. Clint Eastwood is a terrific actor and a fine director.

If you have the chance...watch this movie. You will not be disappointed.

WARNING: This movie made me laugh (alot), but it also had me bawling like a baby. Be prepared and bring some Kleenex.

On a side note, I decided I have to take the jars of jam to the postal store so they can wrap them up good. I can't find the right size boxes to save my life! I haven't forgotten...you should be getting them next week!

I've been hearing lots of good things about this movie so we'll definitely have to go see it.
We used to go to the movies a lot but I swear they just quit making good movies about 10 years ago.
The last 3 we saw I was disappointed in and wished I had spent that money on something else.

Ya know, I haven't been in a theatre since November of 1995. I went with a friend to see Home for the Holidays and we both agreed it was possibly the worst movie ever.

Gran Torino has piqued my interest. I'll proobably see it when it comes out on DVD.

Sorry you had to go to all the trouble with the jam. I couldn't for the life of me think of a fitting box. Wonder if the PO has any the right size. Anyhow, I thought of you the other day when I finally tried a guava drink I got at Publix in Clearwater. It was GOOOOOOD! No junk ingredients and it tasted just like a fresh guava. Mmmmm!!!!!

Clint Eastwood used his outward crankiness to come across as tough and yet also heroic at the same time, well done i'd say

I haven't been to the movies in years, but was thinking about this one. Thanks for the urging, I'm going to take the wife to it soon.
