Allelujah!

I just spoke with my Mom...she got Aidan to school! She had to stay with him for a while, but then told him she was going to go get gas and that she'd come back. He let her go after she swore she'd come back. She went to the gas station and the grocery store, then, because she promised him, she went back to the school. He was playing and having a good time. Mom talkd with his teacher and told her she was going to leave, but she went over and talked to Aidan before she left. She told him she would be back soon to pick him up and that she'd gotten some donuts for him to eat when he got home. He said ok, then gave her his signature "Bye! I love you! Call me on the telephone!". So she left. YAY!!!! One small step for Aidan, one giant leap for the rest of us!

Keep your fingers crossed that tomorrow goes as easy as today did.

Hooray for Aidan! :) I knew he could do it.

PS: I am terribly slow about mailing out your headbands, but I swear they are going out today!

That's wonderful news! I've had my fingers crossed all morning for him and for your mom. It has to be really hard for her to leave him if he's crying. It breaks my heart when my kids cry and I know your mom must be breathing a sigh of relief! I hope tomorrow goes just as well!

OK, so how did Friday go?

Amazing how many kiddos have "school allergies."

Be sure to stop by when you have time to read my Breast Cancer Awareness post.
