That is SO cool! I can't believe you found that. My grandparents lived in Miami in the early 50s and this is what they've described to me. Ahhh for the good ole days!
I lived there in the 80s and between the superbowl riots and the drug runners it was not like they described it at all LOL
Oh wow! I recognized Crandon Park and the Venetian pool right off the bat. My mom was a swimming instructor at the Venetian pool for years. And the parrot jungle! I used to ride my bike past there on the bike trails along Red Road. 'course, it wasn't in the 50's, but it's good to see the old haunting grounds here. Thanks for this trip down memory lane!
I loved this! Opening with my alma mater, then the Venetian Pool...I still remember how delighted I was the first time a friend brought me there to cool off. Then Key Biscayne...it was definitely a great flashback...Thanks for sharing

I used to ride in one of those vehicles but not in Miami. It would have been so much nicer riding in the warmer climate.
