I'm sitting here at my desk at work. Bored. Bored to death. I'm sure some of you out there must have boring days at work when you have nothing to do but pick the dust bunnies out of your keyboard and make several trips to the bathroom just for a change of scenery.
Well this is what I do. Not always, but once in a while I'll go to our county's property search site and put in people's names to see where they live. Or, if I can think of a huge house somewhere, I'll find it and see who owns it. Today was one of those days. I located the homes of Gloria Estefan, Dywane Wade, Tim Hardaway, Pat Riley, Alonzo Mourning and Dave Barry.
Am I snooping? I don't think so. It's public info and easy to find. But it makes me feel like I should be a private investigator.
There have been lots of famous (and infamous) people who have called Miami home...Sylvestor Stallone and Madonna had homes in Coconut Grove, Don Johnson had a nice home on Star Island, the BeeGees, Hulk Hogan and sooooo many other folks have done time here. Most of them didn't stay long, maybe only a few years (the famous can be so fickle!), but alot of them are from here and continue to call it home.
Am I weird? Am I a stalker (Hell, NO!)? I'm just bored and there is TMI on the internet!!

In my job, the only boring days are the FCAT days where I don't get to interact with the kids.
Most days are a blur of activity.
I worked in a dive shop once far from any great diving.

I am so glad I'm not the only one who does this! I spent an afternoon a while back at the property appraiser's site seeing where a bunch of people I went to high school with live now. I haven't seen these people in years but I was just curious where they live now. I felt like a stalker the rest of the day so it's nice to know I'm not alone LOL One of the problems with being self employed is that if I spend the day screwing around on the computer no one can fire me but the power company can turn my power off though so I have to be productive most days LOL
*running away scared* :) I generally search my kids or parents, just see what's on the net about them. Sometimes I learn stuff. :)
