You can take the GRITS out of Florida, but you can't take Florida out of the GRITS!

Hello, I'm a Number 4!

Sayre posted this interesting little bloggie thing on her blog, so I thought I'd check it out myself...seems she and I are alot alike!

You Are 4: The Individualist

You are sensitive and intuitive, with others and yourself.

You are creative and dreamy... plus dramatic and unpredictable.

You're emotionally honest, real, and easily hurt.

Totally expressive, others always know exactly how you feel.

At Your Best: You are inspired, artistic, and introspective. You know what you're thinking, and you can communicate it well.

At Your Worst: You are melancholy, alienated, and withdrawn.

Your Fixation: Envy

Your Primary Fear: To have no identity

Your Primary Desire: To find yourself

Other Number 4's: Alanis Morisette, Johnny Depp, J.D. Salinger, Jim Morrison, and Anne Rice.

I don't totally agree with the "envy" thing. I don't really envy people's belongings and such. I mean, I might say, "Wow! I love your camera! I have GOT to have one!"...but I'm really not envious like that. What I AM envious about is people who have a really good, strong marriage. It's something I've never had and never will. Growing up, all I ever really wanted was to get married and "live happily ever after". Yeah...it ain't happening for me. But that's ok. I have come to terms with it. I guess I am still envious of it, though.

Hey - that marriage thing takes two people really working on it, not just one. I think we would all like to find our true solemate, but I too have ruled out that happy marriage thing. But I still wanted a Conswala (Nancy) to keep the house neat, clean and tidy, me well feed, (that is odd, feed and feed are spelled the same way, just like Read and read ugh English) you know all the domastic garbage. But back to you my friend, you need to see you for how absolutely wonderful you are. Yes, yes, you've raised one pretty cool kid, and my bet is while that little one will turn out pretty cool too (yes there are times he is a handful, but there are others times he is just a sweet as sweet can be. But you are more than a Mother, wife, daughter, sister, worker bee, friend. I look at how handle the problems that life gives you, how you get involved and don't just pass the buck, how you don't let one set back distroy you or ruin the day for everyone around you. I am impressed. hey chica, you got some true grit, a soft heart, and helping hands. I wish I had a way for you to see your own value, and you own beauty, so you could build yourself up. A so that marriage thing aint working out the way you planned, maybe your too much of a person, his loss. Love yourself for who you are.

I am with anonymouse on this one - you need to learn to love yourself more. Others *love* the beauty that you have.

You can not change the other person so start changing the one that you can - yourself. You have two choices - 1. accept things as they are; or 2. change yourself.

Well I came out at no 6 I share this number with Mel Gibson,Woody Allen, Jay Leno, Maralyn Monroe and Julia Roberts. I don't think we should pay any attention to the results as it's only a bit of fun!

I would say it was a Florida Girl thing, but you know my clone is living in Canada...

I didn't really get the envy thing either. It is one thing I don't really succumb to.

And the "happily ever after" marriage? I don't think there's any such thing. I'm on my second marriage and there are days when I just want to throw in the towel, throw up my arms, or just plain old throw up. I basically like him though, so we're trying to make it work. Some days it's just more work than others. Sigh.

I was a five - an "investigator" and in the company of Bill Gates, John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Bjork and Stephen Hawking. Now if that isn't a strange grouping, I don't know what is.
