You can take the GRITS out of Florida, but you can't take Florida out of the GRITS!

I am such a slacker

Wow...guess it's been a while since I've posted anything here, so let me fill y'all in..

As of February 20th, I am officially engaged!  No date has been set yet, but I know that the wedding will take place in PA and I know who the groom is and who the officiating pastor will be.  Other than that, I know nothing.

I got a nice income tax refund and bought a new PnS camera that I will be excited to play around with hopefully get some new pictures on here.

I've been caching regularly.

I'm still working at the same old place and can't wait to leave.

My kids are both doing good.

My MS hasn't flared up...no news is good news there!

In short, my life has been pretty boring and yet truly wonderful lately.  I guess love does that...makes the boring stuff special and the special stuff spectacular!

Hmmm.. Does that mean your title will change to A Pennsylvania Journal eventually?

Not slacking... LIVING!!!

No, always a Florida Girl, always a Florida Journal! I might just have to add a subtitle, something like "A Florida Journal~Tales of a GRIT from the Sunshine State transplanted to the Keystone State"...well, something like that...maybe.

I meant to say GRITS

He must be quite a man for a Florida girl to want to marry a "northerner"! LOL

I'm so glad you're happy.

Are you moving to PA?

He's wonderful and the best thing that's ever happened to me (other than my kids, of course!).

Yes, I'll be moving north, just don't know when yet...no date set. It will be a big change, but I'm excited about it and looking forward to learning more about PA nature.

Now...if I can just get the restaurants there to put grits on their menus...
