Homemade Guava Jam, Anyone???

My sister has made some guava jam from the guavas I grow in my backyard. I already promised two people that I'd send them some, but I figured I oughta do something fun and have a drawing to give away a couple more.

So...if you'd like a jar of delicious homemade jam, just say so in a comment! I will randomly pick two "winners" on Friday at 6:00pm (or close to it).

The two folks I already promised some to - you needn't bother. Your's will be coming soon. I have just been really slow to do it, sorry!

We being 4 and 5th generational Floridians would love some authentic guava jelly. We in North Fla don't do too well in growing that guava tree for our own guava jam. Along with the jam the recipe would be wonderful too. Hope we win!!!!! Lightered Wood Ranch

I grew up in South Florida and we had a guava tree. My mother, born and raised in the NorthEast, a true Yankee, made the best guava jam I've ever had. Actually, the only guava jam I've ever had. That was over 40 years ago. I sure would love one small jar of the magical stuff!

It would cost far too much to ship jam over here but I just wanted to say- it is lovely to make jam from produce you grow. It sounds delicious. I had a friend who used to make quince jam and I used to get a jar by giving her the few from our bush.

I'm trying to plan a quick trip home, but stuff keeps happenin', knowwhutImeanVern? If I ever do make it, you wants some sponges?

Love the new layout but no guava jelly for me. Dang it will be hard to choose just a couple.

Your post brought back memories of my grandmother standing at her wood stove, making guava jelly. I could even SMELL it. Thank you so much for bringing that sense memory back for me. Please put me on your list--guavas don't grow here, and I would LOVE to taste the real thing again. She made the best guava pudding ever.

I don't know you and I'm sure I'm too late, but you are offering to give away PURE GOLD! The only thing that comes kinda close is orange blossom honey!
