Fun Monday~ The High Points

Mariposa is the hostess of this week's Fun Monday.
First, I want to congratulate her on her 3 year blogaversary! Way to go!!!
Now, for this week she wants to know about the high points in our lives...
If you could share to us 3-5 high moments in your lives...this could be funny moments...the you can't believe you did it moments...the "I told you so" moments...or the times we asked the ground to go open and eat us moments! You need not write a book to explain them, the highlights will do.
********************
I can say the highest points in my life have been the births of my two sons. I mean, how can any mother say that anything tops that?!
Other things that have happened in my life that I guess I could say were high points were:
1. My weddings (both of them)...
2. The time I saw a Black Bear in Fakahatchee and last year when I saw a panther in Big Cypress (MAJOR adrenaline rushes!)...
3. When I was a Park Ranger and a Marine Patrol Officer jumped in my car and told me to chase a car that was getting away (MAJOR, MAJOR adrenaline rush!!)...
4. The first time I saw my son play his saxophone in a concert...
5. The whole "Yes" concert experience that I've talked about before...
I know I'll think of more things later, but right now, those are the only ones that come to mind. This may be boring, but most of the best times of my life were nothing more than just hanging out with my family and friends and simply just being happy!

Thanks for playing...

And yes to #1...though I have not walked down the aisle yet...I'm sure it's a high moment.

And I can relate with #2...and for #3...oh my...did you really chase it?! LOL

And congrats to #4...my Mom told me it made her high every time I was on stage before!

Happy Fun Monday!

Nothing like a little rush to make you feel alive.

I miss the Panther and the Bear, but I can relate on the bear and while the pic are fuzzy you got some of your panther.

Childern do have that odd rush on people I just don't understand it LOL.

I saw a bear cub up in the mountains this summer -- first time I've seen a bear cub in the wild. At first I thought he was a little scotty dog -- and so did my husband.

It was exciting -- just as you say.
(But I didn't want to see his mama)

Falling in love with my husband was a very big high for me too. 33 years starting and he still gives me chills. (:

Not having experienced having a child, I would imagine that it would be an incredible high. Hate to say this, but my dog having puppies is right up there for me (grin).

Those mellow times when things are going right with your family and friends are the absolute best. I'm with Anni, expand on your adventures in some future posts.

Oh, I wish I had been with you when you saw that Panther. What a sight.

And yes - it's hard to beat the birth of children.

You have had an exciting life! My son is working at a National Park in Maui right now. Which parks did you work at?

I agree we definitely want to hear the car chase story. Did you catch the guy???

That's a good list. You definitely have your priorities in order. Fakahatchee is right next door to where I work, and yes, that is where I most often see black bears down here.

You have a lot of high points. :) I didn't know your son played the sax - I love to listen to them! :)
