My son thinks this guy is dead, but I'm not sure...He was on the wall by my office when I got to work in the morning, and still there when I left in the evening...hmmm...maybe he is dead? Regardless, I think he's pretty and at least he was very cooperative for the photo shoot!

I'm voting for "live", but either way it's got beautiful colors
Probably returned to room temperature. I'm trying to remember its name... Common Green Darner, I think. Cool colours, huh?
so which did it turn out to be?-you did get some good pictures.
I don't know! It was gone this morning and no sign of it, so it either flew away or the ants carried it away..
That dragon fly has driven me crazy since yesterday. Every time my mind wanders I wonder if a dead one can stick to a wall. And now I'll never know. I'll have to tell myself that it was alive and flew away just so I can stop thinking about it LOL
I like your new header … it’s very ‘kewl’ … but I have no idea whether this ‘dragonfly’ is dead or alive. I dropped by to say (if you’re up for it) consider yourself Boo-ed! Go check my Small Reflections blog for specifics unless you decide you've had enough Halloween already!
Hugs and blessings,
He's beautifully colored! If he's still there on Monday you should stick him in a box and send him my way. :)
Dragonflies are so ancient and primitive. They've been around for so many millions of years and are still relatively unchanged evolutionarily. I love these critters! They make for great colorful photos, too. I especially like the ones with the amber-colored wings.
