I love these spiders. I can stand by a web and watch them for a long time. They're so cool that i don't even mind when I walk into one of their webs by accident and get a face full of stickiness.
My stepson has one with a big web outside his front door. I was over there on Sunday and kept hearing this weird buzzing noise that turned out to be a cicada that somehow wound up in the web. Ms. Spider was just sitting there waiting for it to stop its crazed thrashing. A veritable feast!!!

She's a beauty! I love the writing spiders. Of course, anything that eats mosquitoes is OK in my book.

Certainly not ME! I find spiders amazing to watch … and this one is particularly beautiful.
