You can take the GRITS out of Florida, but you can't take Florida out of the GRITS!

What next?

Today has just been so special (read with heavy sarcasm).

Once again, Aidan got out of going to school. I couldn't do a thing about it since I was at work. His Dad caved and he got to stay home. Again. He didn't go not one day this week.

My son's car crapped out on him. He was coming home from class and when he turned a corner, the engine acted like it went into neutral...kind of. Then it would snap out of it and drive a little then it would do it again. All the way home. I have a feeling it will cost BIG$$$ to fix and I'm not sure I can do it. I think the oldest needs to check out the bus route to school.

I kicked my husband out for about the 1 billionth time, and as usual, I came home from work and his stuff is still here. *sigh*

But the worst thing today was what happened to my camera. We had a big party at work and I went to take some pictures and this is what happened:

Me thinks my camera is dead. The batteries are fine, I didn't drop it, it didn't get wet. I have no idea what could be wrong with it.

If this is a preview of what the weekend is going to be like, I think I'll stay in bed for the next 48 hours!

Damn it does sound you've had a crappy day. Staying in bed for the weekend sounds like a good plan but you need to add in a jug of wine. I've got my fingers crossed that tomorrow is a better day!

Well, it's the weekend, so I suppose you COULD do the 48 hours in bed thing... I agree - that was one crappy day. I hope things start looking better soon!

I’m sorry about your challenging day … hope your camera isn’t ‘dead’ … and that the weekend brings simple joys & pleasures.
Hugs and blessings,

This sounds like a crappy week and I sure hope your weekend is going better!

With the car, do not panic yet. Make sure that it isn't minor maintenance issues first. Dirty points, not enough transmission fluids or oil, or a very dirty air filter are all easy fix items that could cause those symptoms.
