My Face is Not a Book

Google Earth Challenge will get posted Wednesday.

I've been having a Facebook overload the past couple of days (and I HATE Facebook!).

Back in, oh...about 1983 (?) I was friends with a bunch of folks and we hung out together constantly. We were "The Gang". One of The Gang has been going crazy on Facebook, tracking all of us down, so now we're all "re-connecting" and catching up.

There were some good memories from back then...and plenty of bad, too. Some of the folks I have missed, and some I haven't. But whatever, it's fun to see what everyone is up to and how they've changed. I get an evil pleasure out of seeing current pics of some people and knowing that, gee...I'm not the only one who has put on a few pounds and/or really does look a bit older! hehehehe!!!

Maybe after I scan some old pics to post on Facebook, I'll post some here, too. Just for sh!ts and grins :)

It's so nice to see that we aren't the only ones aging isn't it? LOL
I ran into the "It Girl" from high school(the pretties, snobbiest, had the most boyfriends girl) not long ago and I have to admit that I took great pleasure in seeing that she weighs close to 250lbs and has been divorced 4 times. Terrible but true. Obviously the woman's got problems but the teenager that still lives inside of me got a nice chuckle out of that one LOL

LOL, I know people just like that! I'm close to being one of them...but not quite there yet. Now, if any kind of reunion stuff gets tossed about, I'll have to hit the gym, get a real haircut, maybe let my nails grow and buy some decent clothes! ACK!!!!

I recently joined Facebook (at the behest of my dad and a friend from work). It's allowed me to connect with my niece and nephews and some family in England. But it's kind of scary how much time you can spend just fiddling around there. LIke I NEED another reason to sit in front of the computer.... I try to limit it to a half hour at night. And my profile picture? It's about 15 years old!

BeeD, I read it and it's a nice post! Funny what gives us ideas to write, isn't it?

Sayre, I am so glad you added me as one of your Facebook friends :) I try to limit myself, but it can be hard. I just don't really "get" facebook...I mean, what do I care what joe Schmo wrote on Mary Smith's wall? Myspace is SO much simpler and easier...plus you can make it look pretty if you want. I guess it doesn't hurt to have yet another diversion, right???
