You can take the GRITS out of Florida, but you can't take Florida out of the GRITS!

This weekend, I plan on either going south to the Everglades or northwest to the Picayune State Forest. I need to for a few different reasons, number one being I NEED to get away from crowds and crazies!!! I also need to do some work for next week's FM, as well as try to get back to my "Florida" blogging roots. I received an invite from cbs4.com to join there community of South Florida bloggers. I'm sure damn near every other blogger down here got the same invitation, so my head is definitely not swelling. I want to do it, but it made me realize I've gotten off track here again. I think I need to try to post at least one FLORIDA thing each week. That would legitimize it, right? So I'll still do the FMs, and you'll still get the "Challenges", and I'll still post random weird things, but...you'll also get a dose of FLORIDA each week, too.

Catcha later this weekend!

Enjoy your time!

Great idea - hey! Maybe your Google challenge should be FLorida locations... Of course, that might limit your audience participation a bit...

Enjoy your walk!

I'm not cool enough, I didn't get an invite. ;)

We're going to John Lloyd on Sat and then out to Little Slough on Sunday. A few ghosts are about to bloom. Are you ready for swamp walking soon???

Try not to get to far ahead of yourself and too much on your plate. You know that sometimes you start something than don't finish it.

BTW - My FM is done already. It has to be because I am getting a colonscopy on Monday and need to prep on Sunday. I like my free time.

So nice to be retarded.....oh that should be retired!

Your trip sounds like fun. I hope you're able to rejuvinate and enjoy your time away. I love your blog no matter what you're writing about but those Florida posts are cool too. It's nice to hear about your neck of the woods.
