Fun Monday~ Who was your first crush?

Oh boy... Fun Monday should be interesting! Jo, our hostess wants us to completely embarrass ourselves by telling about our first crush. Our first celebrity crush, to be exact. Well, at first I thought this'd be easy, but after really thinking back...I was drawing a blank! Then, it hit me...oh yes! I remember now......

It was.....

Who didn't watch Emergency! ? Yup. He was my first crush, oh yes... he was.

And from what I've seen, he is still a damn fine looking man.

Now, the kind of freaky part for all you LOST fans out there. You know Locke's dad? That evil, nasty scumbag user that he was? I always thought he looked familiar, but never put two and two together until "researching" for this post. Evil Locke's father is none other than Kevin Tighe, Randy's partner on Emergency!

He looked so sweet and innocent in his younger days, huh?

Aside from Randy, I had (and still do) a major crush on Harrison Ford. Curse him for taking up with that anorexic Calista Flockhart person, though. But, my Lord...he is a REAL man, ya know what I mean? Plus, he's a pilot and that adds major points in my book.
Then there was Larry Bird. I know, I know...he's about as homely as a homemade pie, but that white man could jump! I was a complete Celtics fan and Larry Bird was THE man. I watched every game, had a cool green Celtics jacket, had "#33" written on my Nikes. Definitely not a crush based on looks...
Gawd, remember when they wore those tight shorts? How did the big baggie things they wear now ever get approved by the NBA?

So now you know who my first celebrity crushes were on.

I was never one to follow the crowd. No David Cassidy or Shaun Cassidy here. No Leif Garret, either.

Thanks for stopping by, now be sure to go check out what everybody else has written. (I can't imagine what Iamwhoiam has to say was her/his first love!)

I am outnumbered - as a manly man, it is going to be hard to comment on the majority of women posters to this subject, but I did watch Emergency if that is any consolation. NLM

Do you still fall for a man in unifor, to your own folly?
The asignment was celiberity crush not first love.

Oh that Randy was a hottie! I totally forgot about him.

And if you don't mind, I'm stealing "homely as a homemade pie" because I think that's awesome!

Harrison Ford.. Yeah... I totally agree! Hate to say that I can't remember Emergency. Larry Bird???? Ok... I thought Barry Manilow was um... interesting. You've hit a new level of interesting with Larry! LOL!

Have a Fun Monday!

I never saw that show, but he looks lovely, and Harrison Ford is still gorgeous. Maybe he will get over Callista??

And your sportsman is tall. Very tall.

Thanks for playing and have a brill day. :D

I think it's interesting that a few of us have had sports crushes too! I expect to get ragged a lot for mine - I couldn't explain it even when in the throes, so there's no way to explain it NOW.

I love Harrison Ford (my husband looks like him sometimes), especially the wise-cracking characters Indy and Han, but I've never seen a Ford film that I didn't like.

Emergency! must have happened during the TV boycott at my house - I don't recall ever seeing that show!

I LOVED Emergency. I didn't have a crush on them, but I can see that. I wonder what that show would seem like these days....probably pretty pathetic.

Gorsh, that's a pretty flower on your header !

Glad to see some athletes sprinkled around on this Fun Monday.

I second Rose. Harrison Ford is yummy.

Larry Bird?! Really?!

Oh yes, Harrison Ford. Now, Randy Mantooth his face is familiar, but I cannot remember Emergency. Larry Bird is an interesting choice. He certainly is a fabulous basketball player and seems like a very nice man.

rose - yes, they both have aged quite nicely.

NLM - Poor guy, this wasn't much of a Fun Monday for you, was it?

iamwhoiam - No, after Dipshit, I have no uniform lust. Not that I did then, either. He was a wine distributor when I met him!

sauntering soul - Steal away!

jennv - Yeah, I've always gone for the odd ones.

pamela - "hank a hair on a bone" LOL!!! Perfect!

Jo - Thanks for hosting and thanks for leaving a nice comment about the Birdman.

Sayre - Who's choice was weirder, mine or yours?

celeste - Yeah, compared to teh dramas of today, it would definitely pale.

Swampy - Thanks for the compliment! I photoshopped it...

nikki - Yes, Larry Bird. I think it may be a height thing, too.

mjd - I always thought Larry seemed very nice and always a gentleman.

How fun to see your post this morning. I totally blanked out on this week's topic and went with something else ... but seeing these 'hotties' makes Monday 'fun' indeed.
Hugs and blessings,

I'm not familiar with Emergency and I can't say I ever idolized sporting personalities but I always liked the rugged Harrison Ford!

Mantooth was a honey, fur shur.

I always swam against the school, as well. While my older sister was diggin' on Rowdy Yates, I only had eyes for Gil Favor.

Harrison Ford.. OH yeah! Can't wait to see the new Indy movie!

My lifetime biggie is Sam Elliott. Tall, lanky, sllllooowww mellow drawl. *aaahhhhhhhh*

Harrison Ford - Specifically as Han Solo, was an early one, but what about the musicians...Eric Clapton, John Lennon, Steve Tyler...

Next time you need to ask for everyones current celebrity crushes!

For my goodness! I never made the Lost connection until you put it right in front of me. Cool. I had forgotten how much I loved Randy until I saw this post.
