The Lurchers were in charge of coming up with the idea for this week's Fun Monday. Well, they came up with an easy one...take us on your favorite walk!
Unfortunately, my favorite place to take a walk is in Highlands County, 3 hours away. There is an beautiful boardwalk through the swamp in Highlands Hammock State Park that is my all time favorite place to walk. The next time I visit, I'll be sure to take lots of pictures and post them.
Until then, I will show you where we walked today in search of a geocache in Kendall Indian Hammocks Park...

gorgeous pictures. I am glad the mosquitos weren't out yet, it must be miserable when they are.
Awesome....love the black and white photos too. I'll take hot and humid any ol' day comparing it to snow 3 feet deep and temps below zero!!!
My Fun Monday is walking along the beaches, with a few pictures of the views. Drop by if you can.
That looks an amazing place to walk! I dread the mosquito's coming out because I get bitten topieces.
I love the pictures!!!!
i like these but i LOVE the bird pics below. the whole lot of them is beautiful!
I bet there are wonderful bird populations in a swamp. We have Marshes full of them.
Of course, you have some other creatures there too.
Walking in a swamp is on my to do list.
Umm, am I the only one out here who doesn't know what a geocache is? I, too am glad for you that the mosquitos weren't on the warpath yet!!
Thanks for the link about geocaching. that sounds like so much fun!
Oh, I LOVE black and white photos, looks lovely.

Great pictures I always think geocaching looks such fun just wish I had the time
Looks inviting. However - not the heat and humidity. That is one thing I don't have to deal with in Oregon. But, we still have mosquitoes. I can't think of anyplace that doesn't.
I enjoyed your pictures in the park (also loved the bird pictures on your previous post). Mosquitoes love me I'm sorry to say and it's making me itch just thinking about them!
Beautiful B&W Suprizing for I now how green green green that park is.
What with the elbow?
Mosquitoes love me … and I hate them!!! I enjoyed your black and white photos of this interesting area … so different from my own neck of the universe. Mine’s up at Small Reflections ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
What a lovely walk in the park near home. The photos are cool!
I am fascinated by geocaching.. if only I had just a little tiny bit of extra time.
Ah well, thanks for taking me along.
What a pretty place to walk! And to find a geocache along the way makes it even better. The mosquitos are already out up here but not as bad as they will be in a month or so. I swear some days you need a bee-keeper's suit just to get to the mailbox and back LOL
I must google geocache. And your pictures are lovely.
Nice B&W pics!
Loved those b & w photos. What the heck is geo cache? I remember you speaking about it in previous posts.
Very pretty. How in the world are you getting away with no mosquitos!?! LOL! We already have them, but not bad yet.
I love how you did the pics~
You must not have had much rain yet if you're not having mosquitoes! I have to say that it is the ONE good thing about drought conditions... We have LOTS of mosquitoes right now. Finally north Florida is getting rain this year.
I love those pictures. They are definitely frame-worthy!
I love your areas! Glad you found the cache. What's up with the elbow?
