Fun Monday~ 5 Pictures & 5 Words

The Nekkid Lizard's stepped up to host this week's Fun Monday, and this is what they asked:

This week's Fun Monday is a really simple one:
FIVE PICTURES - FIVE WORDS PER PICTURE.Any 5 (FIVE) pictures, any subject, and any 5 (FIVE) words to describe and/or explain each picture.

Well, I started out with grand ideas. I just bought a digital scrapbooking cd and thought I'd be able to make up a cool page with pictures and stuff for this week's assignment. Well, I did. It looked really cool. But, the crappy-ass program would not let me save it in any other format other than their own ".scrapbooking" stupid extension. GRRRR.... I tried for over an hour to figure out another way of making it work. The following is the best I could do. It sucks. I am frustrated. It really did look so awesome, but now it's lacking 50% of the color it had, the right size, and the cool background (corkboard). I doubt anyone will be able to read any of it without clicking on it to make it bigger. It was my 5 FRUSTRATIONS, now of which, obviously, I have at least 6 of!

Anyway, I hope everyone else has come up with some cool and fun stuff to read.

I'm sorry, but mine just really sucks this week. (I'm going to throw the stupid, crappy-ass cd away right now! $10 totally wasted, but then, ya get what ya pay for, right?)

***MOVE OUT***

Leave all of it behind you and start fresh somewhere else.

LOL!!! If it were only that simple! I just need a maid, a gardener and Super Nanny and everything would be perfect ;)

Well I can relate to some of those as I'm sure most of us can. :)

I am sorry about the bad software. I can see that you did have an absolutely fabulous plan. Your pictures are fun, and your captions are clever. If you come across some great graphics software, let us know. I am still using photo software from the last century because it works better than my new stuff.

I feel your pain! Even if we had to enlarge, it's still a very creative approach. Remind me to watch out for little guys with wrenches ready to help!

You are TOO clever and I feel your pain. If you find a solution to the dilemma, please share it, ok?

I enlarged and could read everything. I think you had a clever idea and the captions are a perfect match for the photos.

Sorry to read of your troubles. What a bummer! I know nothing about scrapbooking let alone digital scrapbooking.

You still worked it out, in spite of the aforementioned "crappy program"...what a great attitude you have through it all. And, I still think you've done a respectable job, too. And, [the attitude] is an inspiration for us all! :)

Well darn, there's nothing more frustrating then putting all that effort in and then not being able to save it how you want it. Stupid programs. BUT....I can still see your pic just fine and absolutely love it!! I just came from my laundry room so I'm feeling a special connection to that laundry pic.

I often use challenges like this to teach myself something new ... just as you did. Actually I enjoyed your results even though you found the process frustrating ... so I'm glad you shared anyway. I did Fun Monday yesterday at Small Reflections but had no time to visit others until this morning ... thus I'm playing 'catch up' today. Stop by if you can ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

Your weeds and laundry look like mine! But my auto mechanic is not as cute as yours!
