Fun Monday ~ Words that inspire

Robin, the Pensieve one, was in charge of this week's topic....please share words that inspire and motivate you--brief or bloviatory, silly or serious, from great world leaders to last night's Comedy Central...from a Hallmark greeting card to your favorite book. Choose one, choose many; let the quotes stand on their own or tell where you first read or heard them and how they affected you. There's a lot of leeway with how this topic can be handled.
I don't have a huge, long list. Just a few that have meaning to me.
Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you.
-Frank Lloyd Wright
********************
Nature does nothing uselessly.
-Aristotle
*******************
Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.
-Albert Einstein
********************
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.
-Mark Twain
********************
And a few from my favorite actress, the very wise Katharine Hepburn -
~If you always do what interests you, at least one person is pleased.
~If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun.
~Enemies are so stimulating.
And my all time favorite: Sometimes I wonder if men and women really suit each other. Perhaps they should live next door and just visit now and then.
Now go take the time and read what other folks have chosen as their inspirations! Click HERE to find a list of this week's participants.
Thanks for hosting this week, Robin!

Love Mark Twain.....the cantankerous ol' man that he was. He was brilliant.

The Mark Twain quote was great, seeing that I can't remember anything anyways. Great job.

I like the Aristotle quote! So...if I'm a freak of nature, what does that mean?

Your quotes about nature makes me regret that I no longer feel as connected to the change of seasons, etc. as I did as a child. I need to work on that. your blog is written by someone who obviously appreciates nature.

I must have tried A LOT of new stuff because I lost count of my mistakes a long time ago!

Katherine Hepburn and my paternal grandmother - could have been twins separated at birth. There are days when I really relate to the men/women next door quote!

You're the only one I've seen today to quote the great Ms. Hepburn. I LOVE her. When I grow up, I want her moxie!!

The nature quotes seem just like the image of you, a person who deeply values life.

I love the quote about nature.
I enjoy Nature so much. Like mjd says I think it is because I value life too much to pass on anything beautiful.

Mark Twain was a one-man quotation machine, wasn't he?

Great choices - each and every one of them.

That Mark Twain quote about the truth is one of my favorites! But I have to admit, the very last quote? LOVE IT. I might have to hang that outside my door or something! hahaha

Ah! Love them ALL! I've been bouncing around the FM list all week (out of order) and it's always a rush to read an entire list I haven't read before. Well, the Twain one I had, but it ALWAYS makes me SMILE.

Katherine Hepburn's were marvelous and her thought that "enemies are so stimulating"? Well, I've never thought of that before, but it sure is the truth.

Thanks for joining in this week!
